About Me
I'm a software engineer, and mostly I'm just someone who loves figuring out how things work. New tools, new ideas, new problems: I fall down the rabbit hole and enjoy every minute of it.
What pulls me in most is how businesses actually run. Where the time goes, where the friction is, where a small piece of technology changes the whole picture. So I don't think of myself as only writing code. I want to understand the real problem first, then build something that solves it. I've worked across a lot of stacks over the years, so I rarely feel boxed in by one tool.
And lately, AI. I think it's one of the most exciting things to happen to programming, and to plenty beyond it. I don't treat it as magic, though. The fun part is pointing it at the right problem and working out what it should and shouldn't do. It's already changed how I work day to day.
This site is where I write about all of that: web development, AI, design, and the small lessons I pick up while building. Mostly I'm thinking out loud and sharing what I learn along the way.
Things I work with
React, React Native, Next.js, Vue, Nuxt, Astro, Tailwind, TypeScript, Node.js, Laravel, Supabase, Postgres, Prisma, Drizzle, and a steady stream of AI tools and LLM APIs. The list keeps changing, which is kind of the point.
